The genesis of the Slant Collection began with the idea for splitting the back splats of a chair at an angle to form a slant. The chair is constructed from solid hardwood, finishing at a robust 1-1/4" thick. The backsplats are made by resawing thicker hardwood into thin strips that are then glued back together in a bending form to produce the ergonomic shape. A linen upholstered seat comes standard.
